Every type of lap and wave winding for single speed and multispeed
motors is detailed. Over 760 pages cover every conceivable type of
connection and grouping of 3 phase stator and rotor windings. Single
phase motor windings are also described carefully.
Methods of reconnecting for changed operating conditions and means of
determining faults in windings are told in full. Applications and types
of insulating materials are specified.
Details of grouping, paralleling possibilities with problems, and
hook-ups are given in necessary details in 319 winding diagrams, 206
